Urban Design Studio and Kilday & Associates, Inc. merged on January 1, 2009 to become Urban Design Kilday Studios (UDKS). The merger of these two firms, each with more than 30 years of experience, combines two of Palm Beach County’s largest and most recognized urban design, planning and landscape architecture firms.

With distinctive core practice areas, UDS brings significant experience in master planning, graphics and landscape architecture, while Kilday specializes in governmental approvals and land planning. Both firms have also expanded their scope of services to focus on green practices and energy-efficient design, with a strong commitment to sustainable practices in site and landscape design.
Founded in 1978, Kilday & Associates, Inc. is a locally based firm, which provides the multi-disciplinary services of land use planning and landscape architecture. The firm's efforts have been focused on land use analysis, site-specific design, and landscape planting design for both the public and private development sectors. Kilday & Associates is well respected for its ability to act as a liaison between its clients and government agencies in South Florida, as well as to act successfully on behalf of government agencies when they are clients.

Urban Design Kilday Studios employs nine registered landscape architects, seven urban planners, four project managers, and six CAD operators holding degrees from regional planning to geography. Their large project history has led to the creation of an extensive network of professional consultants including architects, engineers, and marketing firms with which UDKS works on a regular basis. The ability to successfully work with both the public and private sector allows the firm to direct its projects along the most time-efficient path, with the goal of producing the best possible project for the specific need.
